It’s been a while since my latest activity here on the platform. But recently it started to tickle again. And oh my, it’s good to be back again. With a new series of videos about the composition Seven.
Don’t forget to hit that like button if you appreciate this video. Also sub to my channel for my music and videos about how to write orchestral music for film.
A new orchestral composition called Seven
I took a small break. Enjoyed quality time with the misses and kids, making long rides on my bike and spending time on new works.
One of those works is Seven. A five minutes and 36 seconds long orchestral composition. I published it on Youtube and on all other major streaming platforms. If you haven’t listened to it yet, feel free to do. It’s included below.
When you enjoyed the work Seven and you want to know more about it, then the upcoming series of videos should have you interest.
So what can you expect in the upcoming videos?
There will be seven videos about composing and orchestration. Why seven? Well, the work consists of seven storylines:
00:00 – Storyline 1: a friendly opening
00:49 – Storyline 2: dark ages upon us
01:32 – Storyline 3: floaty and mystical sky
02:22 – Storyline 4: losing the memories
03:16 – Storyline 5: the end of an era
03:59 – Storyline 6: wakening up in a new world
04:40 – Storyline 7: happy and loving ending
So each individual video focuses on one of the seven storylines with its typical sound.
I will also do a video about exporting and prepping the STEMS out of StaffPad. And how to mix them in your DAW. So you can get them ready for publishing on platforms like Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify or any other of such.
I will publish a video every Thursday on my Youtube channel at 17:00 CET. Why weekly videos? Well, then you have time to follow along, digest and most importantly you can practice! So if you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet, this is the moment to do. Don’t forget to ding that bell to receive any notifications of a new video.
Download Bundle of Seven
The written score, audio as in STEMS and full mix, MIDI and Music XML files are all available for download. These are totally free for my Patrons on Patreon. If you’re not a patron you can get the package for a small amount of money on my website.
I hope you’re excited as I am and that you’re looking forward to the upcoming videos. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to throw me a line in the comments underneath the video on Youtube.
