This is a topic that I had on my list for quite a while. It’s about risers! How to create awesome and unique risers for your (hybrid) orchestral music tracks. Creating a sound that distinguishes you from the flock of composers. Maybe we can even talk about a signature sound eventually. And it is super easy! You can experiment and get great sounds just by using a default stock plugin like I show you in the video.

Tremolo: a stock plugin from Logic Pro X for unique risers
In my hybrid orchestral music track Unleashed I have used several risers. This genre simply can’t go without any good powerful and exciting ones. You need to get your audience thrilled right?
But how can you make the default risers we all have a little bit more interesting? That’s a good question!
Well, simply grab the tremolo plugin in Logic Pro X and use it on your track. Play around with the Rate and Depth. Manipulate the tempo. Use automation to get some really stunning effects. Just by using this default stock plugin! In the video I show it to you in detail.
Tremolator from Soundtoys (paid plugin) for similar results
If you don’t own Logic Pro X you’ll probably have a plugin in your DAW with similar functionalities. If not, Tremolator from Soundtoys is an amazing (paid) plugin. I use it almost all of the time!
